The Serbia national football team represents Serbia in international football and is controlled by the Football Association of Serbia. The team competes in the UEFA Nations League and FIFA World Cup, and its home ground is the Rajko Mitić Stadium in Belgrade.
History
The Serbia national football team was founded in 1919 as the Kingdom of Serbs, Croats, and Slovenes national football team. The team competed in the FIFA World Cup for the first time in 1930 and has since appeared in 12 World Cups, reaching the semi-finals in 1930 and 1962. The team has also won the UEFA European Championship twice, in 1960 and 1976.
